This table full of silent auction items was awarded throughout the evening to lucky Melonfest guests. These one-of-a-kin hand-painted works of art were available for the bidding during the silent auction. At the end of the evening, Melonfest bidders were awarded with their silent auction prizes: beautiful paintings, hand-crafted apparel, tickets to sporting events, spa packages and more. Melonfest attendees were lucky to have such unique items available for the bidding such as this very unique painting, along with gift baskets, and much more. New to Melonfest this year was Aggie Ganz and her fragrant and beautiful Mia Bella soy candles. Melonfest sponsor and artist, Lisa Liddy, of The Printed Page, showcases her hand-crafted jewelry collection "Joolz by Lisa". Steve Bruno, a regular Melonfest artist, returns again this year with a gorgeous collection of his inspiring photography. We were blessed to once again have beautiful piano compositions by Gary Russell Bass accompany the evening's shopping and dining experience. The song and costume both pay tribute to the hard work and fundraising activities at this summer's many car washes hosted by Hooters that raised funds as well as awareness of The Melonhead Foundation. With leg raised and umbrella opened, Miss Pepper Mills dazzles the crowd with her Streisand-esque performance of "Don't Rain on My Parade" Miss Pepper Mills ends her crowd-pleasing performance with arms in the air. Rainbow Girl, Manna Nuff, brings down the house with a performance of Gloria Estefan's "Conga" while preparing to lead a line of Melonfest-ers around the Oakwood ballroom. Nearly half the guests in attendance at Melonfest will soon be snaking around the room in a conga line with Manna Nuff to Gloria Estefan's "Conga". The conga line has begun with Susan Ballman as the tail for now with the procession soon to grow much larger and wrap around the room.
